Mrs. Yolanda Coleman

My name is Yolanda Coleman. I'm originally from Elba, Alabama. I am a 1989 graduate of Elba High School.  I attended Enterprise State Communty College and completed my Bachelor's Degree at Troy State University. I also have a Master's Degree and an Education Specialist Degree from Troy University. 

This is my 28th year in education. I taught six years in Phenix City, Alabama. I moved to Troy in 2000. I have been a second grade teacher, and an interventionist. Currently, I serve as the Local Reading Specialist. 

I am married to Steven Coleman. He is a Corrections Officer with the Alabama Department of Corrections. We have 2 children, Jamilya, who is a graduate of Troy University and lives in Birmingham, Alabama and Wesley, who attends Troy Elementary School.
