8th Grade Parents or Guardians:
The morning of May 19th at 9:00 A.M., we are planning a special recognition program for our passing eighth graders. The eighth graders will participate in a program similar to a graduation where they will receive a certificate acknowledging their successful completion of their middle school grades. This letter serves as an invitation to the event for immediate family and also provides information about requirements for the program.
The recognition program is for eighth graders who are passing (having no more than one failing average for a subject). Students who will not pass the eighth grade will not be included, nor will those currently in the Alternative Learning Center (ALC).
Students who owe fees for the following will not be allowed to participate.*Athletics
*Chromebooks
*Textbooks
*A+Curriculum supplies (novels,etc)*Band
*Art
*Graduation gown rental
*Cafeteria moneyTherefore, all fees must be paid by Friday, May 5th, all Chromebooks must be returned by Friday, May 5th, and textbooks must be returned by Friday, May 12th.
